Where is the Carrefour supermarket?

When you travel with LeShuttle, you can’t miss Carrefour Cité Europe. Shortly after exiting the shuttle, a slip road takes you directly to Cité Europe, which has a large free-of-charge car park, and charging stations for electric vehicles allowing you to shop with total peace of mind! The Carrefour hypermarket is located on Level 1 of the Cité Europe mall.

Save with tax-free shopping at Carrefour  

As a UK resident you are eligible to shop tax-free in the European Union, and if you spend over €100.01 in France you can save money on VAT on your purchases. A variety of goods qualify, including cosmetics, jewellery, technology, food and drink items.

Just show your passport and ask for 'tax free' (hors taxe in French) when paying at the till. You will be asked to go to the Carrefour information desk to complete the tax refund form. Keep your tax-free forms and receipts, and get them validated in our Calais Terminal building by using the automatic kiosks to claim your tax refund. The tax refund area is clearly signposted in the passenger building.

Is there parking at Carrefour Cité Europe?

There is free parking (4,200 spaces) in the Cité Europe car park, including disabled spaces, electric vehicle charging, bicycle and motorbike spaces. 

How far is Carrefour Cité Europe from the Eurotunnel?

Cité Europe is only a 5-minute drive from the LeShuttle terminal in Calais.
