Electric cars and chargers

Charge your electric vehicle at LeShuttle

Electric car drivers can take advantage of the charging points at both our Folkestone and Calais terminals.

Make your trip across the Channel even more sustainable

The terminals at LeShuttle, formerly known as Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, provide ample charging capacity.

You can fully charge your EV in 30-60 minutes, depending on your battery size.

At both our Folkestone and Calais terminals, we have four 210 kW EVBox Modular ENGIE ultra-rapid chargers available, allowing you to charge your vehicle quickly and conveniently.  Each ultra-rapid charger is equipped with two connectors. In addition, each terminal has one 50 kW charger.

You will find dedicated Tesla Superchargers at the terminal buildings on both sides of the Channel including two at our Flexiplus lounge car park in Calais.

Enjoy a coffee in our terminal building while you wait, and start your road trip with maximum range!

We also have a 50 kW charger in our Flexiplus lounge car park at our Calais terminal. At Folkestone, the 50 kW charger and all four 210 kW ultra-rapid chargers are located at the main terminal building. Please note there are no electric vehicle chargers in the Folkestone Flexiplus lounge car park.

Download Engie App or Tesla App

For the best charging experience, we recommend downloading either the ENGIE Vianeo app or the Tesla app before you travel, depending on which charging network you plan to use. Having the relevant app set up in advance will provide seamless access to the chargers and help ensure you can take advantage of any promotional rates or offers that may be available.
